Triple Ballot Measure Loss

That's not entirely true since conservatives probably won most of the measures they put forth especially concerning same-sex couples' rights. However, a few states said No to the conservatives.
1. In Arizona the voters said No to the measure banning same-sex marriage.
2. In South Dakota they voted down a measure to ban abortions in all cases making no exception for rape or incest.
3. And lastly in Missouri they passed the measure allowing stem cell research.
Jump.

These were only 3 victories but they were important. And lastly in a less controversial measure Ohio voted for a state-wide smoking ban. Now if Kentucky would follow suit I could finally breath some clean air in bars and restaurants.
